“Sea Legs” A Collaborative Journey of Jolby & Ashley Forrette
We are very pleased to announce a new show with Ashley Forrette called “Sea Legs” at Together Gallery in Portland, Oregon. The opening night of the show is February 25th and will run through March.
The show will explore the mythology and superstitions of the sea and will combine the photography of Ashley Forrette with the illustrative talent of Jolby. Included in the show will also be Dolls for Friends (contributing a large felt piece), Shoko Saito (contributing some decoration), wood-cut, hand-pianted pieces cut by Engrave, and an original soundtrack composed and recorded by The Graduate.
It will be a must-see evening in Portland and we hope to see you all there! It will be our first show including all of our great friends. We will be previewing new work every week until the opening with the first post starting tomorrow. Stay tuned!
